thank you so much for all of your support - our bc adaptive paddling tour was a huge success!!!

We were able to visit a number communities and provide meaningful adaptive paddle boarding experiences to many wonderful people along the way. Below you will find some of our favorite photos taken throughout the journey through Shuswap, Summerland, Sechelt, Kamloops, Buntzen Lake and Naniamo. Due to changing weather, the final destinations of the tour will be completed this coming spring, 2017 when we visit the Rocky Mountain Adaptive Program in Alberta, Sunshine Coast, Maple Ridge and Prince George. None of this would have been possible without the support of our donors and major sponsor and for that we will be forever grateful! A big shout out to all of our awesome paddlers, partnering organizations and volunteers.

big thanks to our Major sponsor

I was excited. To be able to get on this board for the first time ever not ever thinking I ever have a chance like that. It absolutely means the world to me. I’m a water baby and I love being out on the water. My favourite part is just being out on the water, being free. I had no confidence being on the water before going on this board. I am a lot happier in my life now.

I tried adaptive paddling last year and it was pretty emotional for me because I paddleboarded prior to injury and it was something I never thought would be an option again. And then you were at the multi- sports day. It was a remarkable feeling being on the water in your chair for all the able-bodied people to see.
